Why Bainimarama Fails to Govern Fiji
We have not as a matter of principle read this illegal government’s “Peoples Charter” since the purported abrogation of our Supreme Law last April which presumably this Charter was founded upon.
The only question that comes to mind when we think of Frank his cronies and opportunist is what exactly do they wish to achieve for the Republic of the Fiji Islands, Really? What is their destination?
There is no need to remind ourselves of the absolute destruction of our economy since the 2006 coup, that is now water under the bridge and a notorious fact, so where to now?
The starting point to move Fiji Forward is to have a clear understanding of the current reality, as it is, not as it should be, could be, or can be. And the reality folk is that we are on ground zero.
The first step is for this illegal government to accept the reality of their misgovernance and to stop misleading, suppressing and lying to the people of the severity of our current reality.
We are screwed, but we do not have to fcuk things up further and sell Fiji to Foreigners out of Necessity.
Bainimarama needs to STOP. He needs to STOP distorting reality with his myopic financial view and stop misleading the people, beginning with his illegal governor of the Reserve Bank.
If he stopped all the arbitrary arrests and threats and intimidation public servants and private contractors/consultants would be more willing to tell him the TRUTH instead of trying to survive in a work culture and environment that creates fear, stifles creativity and has a reward system that drives people to paint a rosier picture.
The starting point is for this illegal government to Stop Lying to the People.
There is profound uncertainly as to our intended common destination, our radically changed New Fiji, and the last thing on this illegal governments mind is to restore Democracy (whatever that will mean in our future).
So what is the Destination? We have no idea.
The real cause of this illegal governments failure is their lack of clarity on the destination which is accentuated by different people pursuing different destinations.
A misalignment of bi-polar personalities seeking absolutely different objectives which creates false expectations, drains our exhausted National coffers, saps energy and leaves the people demoralized when they are unable to deliver their promised land, the New Fiji.
They have smashed the compass and are walking blind leading the blind, with an endless list of moron after moron playing musical chairs.
But the problem also lies in the fact that this illegal government gets flustered by every single variational change.
They cannot absorb the situation calmly and respond with equanimity; rather they react and introduce nervousness, new decrees. They forget the difference between special causes and common causes, between noise and signal.
So whats the solution?
Why should we solve this illegal government’s problem. <><
