What reason did the regime give for this (Abolishment of Rt Sukuna Holiday) ?
I was unaware that 'modern' governments have the authority to touch Historical Calendar Landmarks established by previous and esteemed Leaders and to sabotage Fiji's own unfolded history ?
Some would consider this, as an abduction of a piece of Fijian Heritage from our future generations , like stealing display items from the National Treasures of the Capital City's Museum .
I consider History as Communal Property, so exactly WHO has the Authority to do this ?
WHICH Title on any human being has sanctioned the right to delete National historical events from our calendars and our remembrance ?
As in all Abusive relationships, the Abuser can only continue to defile the Victim , where Co-dependancy has existed.
