The United States and Australia have sealed their alliance and commitment to engage in a whole new level of military, naval, air-force as well as cyber and even space operations over the past week to securitize the Pacific.
This comes at a critical time as the US realign their forces in the Pacific Ocean as marines move from Japan to Guam including the deployment of 60% of its submarine fleet from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
This will also see these countries cooperate with other challenges including humanitarian and disaster operations, maritime security, weapons proliferation and combating terrorism and extremism.
