  • The Price of Tyranny in Fiji - Transnational Organized Crime?

Transnational Organized Crime groups in Fiji will expand its multi billion dollar criminal industry.

Trafficked drugs including methamphetamine and other contraband such as small arms and military hardware will flow through Fiji, supporting the illicit demands within the region and beyond.

Widespread collusion between traffickers and Frank Bainimarama's ruling military junta and the Fiji Military Council will allow organized crime groups to function with impunity.

Transnational Crime in Fiji threatens regional security in the South West Pacific and bolsters a regime that fosters a culture of corruption and disrespect for the rule of law and human rights.
